One Response
We need to shape the culture and society, not allow ourselves to be shaped by the culture. Second, Tolkien’s battle scenes are not graphic; he focused more on the characters. And third, Tolkien’s works that are still being printed, with the Tolkien monogram on them are still under copyright. The “show” may be someone else’s idea, but the books have Tolkien’s name on them. As I have often heard Father Mitch Pacwa say, “There is no copyright in Heaven”. But while we are here on earth, we still have a moral responsibility. Better a children’s show than a teenage horror flick.
